At some stage, all crypto will end up held by assassinated criminals and the whole problem will resolve itself. If it’s secure, there’s no way to get it from dead people without keys. Ultimately, it will all end up inaccessible, but with a wonderful legacy of burnt coal, ever-straining datacentres, and crime.
